This community has been created so that we can have a friendly place to advertise the pets we have for adoption, in the hope to find them a good new owner, instead of just abandoning straight into the pound where anyone can get them.
If you wish to see what pets are available for adoption, or have one you would like to advertise, please join our friendly community.

♥ The Neopets Team (TNT) have some new rules in place as to adopting pets. This message first started appearing on the abandon page of the pound on the 13th December 2005:
WARNING!!! Pets that are above level 2, are limited-edition species, or that have been painted with certain rare or expensive paintbrushes, CANNOT be adopted by any account younger than four months. So be careful when abandoning a pet, if you're planning on trying to re-adopt it!

The following colours (researched by [info]jo_fitz) CAN be adopted by an account younger than 4 months.
* Blue * Brown * Checkered * Glowing * Green * Invisible * Orange * Pink
* Purple * Red * Shadow * Silver * Skunk * Speckled * Split * White * Yellow

♥ There is often confusion as to what colours and species can and cannot be gotten by zapping pets with the labray. According to Just To Clear Things Up, an Extensive Lab Ray FAQ help site, these are what CANNOT be obtained by the labray.
